Artist Statement
As an artist, I weave my diverse background, surroundings, and vibrant daydreams into a tapestry of creativity. My work is a fusion of reality and imagination, infusing playfulness, exploration, and fun through the interplay of movement, color, texture, language, objects, costumes, and rhythmical music within my performances. With a mission to uplift and challenge, my art invites audiences to re-assess assumptions, creating a dynamic canvas where each element contributes to a fresh perspective on the intersection of reality and imagination.

Brief Bio
Embarking from the diverse roots of Vietnam, France, and China, my journey began in Hong Kong, influenced by the backdrop of my father's military service. From a boat refugee to a vibrant upbringing in Denmark, I later became a citizen of Norway. Now settled in sunny Florida, USA, my joy extends as a proud mother and happy wife, weaving a life story colored by resilience, cultural richness, and the warmth of family. Alongside these chapters, my adventurous spirit in travel explores the world's wonders, creating a narrative that intertwines diverse experiences and the creative tapestry of the arts.

Five years as the Curator and Festival Director for Norway's largest Hip-Hop and Street dance festival "Urban Moves" in Oslo for The National Stage for Dance. I also directed a dance film titled "Kaleidoscope" and a dance piece named " The Hustle" for the festival.

Grants receiver for two performing arts pre-projects " Hymns of Hyenas" and "Hermit Homecoming" by The Norwegian Cultural Council.

Solo Performance "Embrya" at the studio stage for "Choreography Lab" at The National Stage for Dance, and an open session with the same piece for the "Dance Information" and the celebration of the International Day of Dance.

Five years as a member of the Development of Dance Commission within the World Dance Sports Federation working on developing international championships and adjudicator education.

Ten years as the subject matter resource, producer, and educator for the Street Styles Commission within the Norwegian Dance Federation. The Dreamcatcher Project, The Street Challenge series, The Knock Out Series, The Norwegian Hip-Hop League, and The Norwegian National Championship in Breaking and Hiphop, and educational certifications for Trainers, Judges, Head Judges, and competition DJs.

Three years as partner and head Teacher for the Hip-Hop/Street dance programs at Bårdar Academy, Bårdar International, and Otto Treider Senior High School. Today, the program is recognized as a bachelor's degree through Kristiania University College in Oslo, Norway.
